The Ghazal Sri Kenchana was formed about 10 years ago by Mr. Mokhtar Bin Abdul Rahim (Father). This Ghazal group is special and different compared to other Ghazal Band available as it is actually a Contemporary Ghazal Band. They able to perform not only wide variety of traditional songs but also some modern songs either locally or internationally, Chinese and Indian folk songs, and some English oldiest tunes.

 

This Ghazal group always invited to perform in wedding ceremonies, dinners, open houses, government and private functions, perform during fast breaking in Ramadhan in hotels and restaurants, perform in shopping complexes, contracts with hotels and many more.

 

Instruments uses are accordion, violin, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, gendang/rebana (traditional drum), bongo, gong and some percussion.
